Our Jablonec museum is focused on toys that our parents and grandparents remember. They will return to their childhood years and the children, on the other hand, will recognize what their dads, moms, grandfathers and grandmothers played with.
The focus of the toy museum is diverse and both boys and girls can find their toys here. Boys will be delighted with the collection of model cars, kits or trains. Dolls or prams are prepared for the girls.
The Museum of Glass and Jewelery in Jablonec nad Nisou is the only museum in the Czech Republic specialized in glass and jewellery. It was founded in 1904.
City Gallery MY
The gallery is located in the House of Jana and Josef V. Scheybalová in Kostelní Street and mainly exhibits works by local artists.
The Art Nouveau theater in Jablonec was built according to the plans of the important Viennese firm Fellner and Helmer. On July 23, 1906, the ceremonial excavation of the foundations took place, in August the foundation stone was laid, and on September 2, 1907, the construction, carried out by the builder Emilian Herbig, was approved. The theater is in operation again after a demanding reconstruction, it does not have a permanent stage, therefore we can see most of the interesting Czech scenes on its boards.
You can relax and do sports in the municipal swimming pool. Here you will find a sports, 25 m long pool with 8 swimming lanes, a children's pool and a pool with attractions such as two water slides, you will also find artificial waves, a massage bench, a water curtain and also the biggest hit, which is the predatory river. Lovers of relaxation will also get their money's worth. On offer are massages, sauna, aqua fitness.
The athletic stadium is one of the most modern in the Czech Republic. It was completed in the fall of 2004. It can boast an eight-track with a polytan surface and all the necessary sectors. The capacity of the grandstand is 1,200 spectators, together with the oval, approx. 2,000 spectators.
The hall serves the public, school facilities, physical education units and sports clubs. Equipment: The playing area of the entire hall is 64 m x 26 m. The playing height is 12 m. The individual courts have dimensions of 26 x 16 m (the 4th court is 28 m long), and are used for rebounding, basketball, indoor soccer, netball, floorball and now also badminton.
The equipment of the hall includes a boxing training room, a gymnastics gym, an aerobics room, a spinning room, four table tennis stations, upper and lower fitness.

The unique technical monument is the most attractive recreational facility in the city and the entire surrounding area. In the summer months, part of the dam is used for swimming, namely in the locations U prut and U kiosku.
The sports complex built near the Jablonec dam offers tennis and volleyball courts, a soccer field, an athletics track, a gym and a children's corner, but it is mainly known for its cross-country skiing. In winter, you will find prepared ski cross-country tracks including an illuminated wheel that allows training even after dark. In the summer, the asphalt track is used for roller skiing and skating.
Due to its location in the natural landscape, the Srnčí důl complex is one of the unique sports complexes in the Czech Republic. There are running tracks, various types of playgrounds and sports fields. The area is very widely used by the public, sports clubs, schools and other entities precisely because of its varied offer of sports fields and pleasant environment.
Ski trails will lead winter sports enthusiasts not only from the well-known resorts of Bedřichov and Jizerka, but also from other starting points such as Oldřichov in Hájy, Nové Město pod Smrkem, Desná, Horní Polubný or Martinské údolí in Kořenov, into the nature of the Jizera Mountains Protected Landscape Area for experiences and performances. Thanks to close cooperation with other trail operators, e.g. Jizerky for you in Kořenov or Bieg Piastów in Jakuszyce, Poland, skiers can also cross the trails in the Krkonoše Mountains or on modified trails on the Polish side. Jablonec is the gateway to the Jizera Mountains with transport to all these locations.
